IDEC 2015 News

The International Democratic Education Conference was held in Nelson in Aotearoa/New Zealand from 8th–12th April 2015.

"All IDECs are different and 2015 had its own unique character. The organising group hoped to give space and voice to Indigenous and young people and this was very evident in the participants from 30 different countries...".

EUDEC in Poland

The EUDEC Conference for 2015 will take place in Zagroda Ojrzanów, about twenty kilometers south-west of Warsaw. It will run from August 2 to 8,? with arrival on August 1 and departure on August 9. Open Space workshops will run from August 2 to 6, and there will be public meetings in Warsaw on August 7 and 8. The EUDEC AGM will be on August 3 and 4.

The Ojrzanów farm  is a unique venue for the  EUDEC meeting. The nearby lakes and forests are a fantastic place to rest, walk, swim, or play team games. It is a perfect place for discussion and exchanging experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.

The conference fees vary between 370 Euros for adult non-members of EUDEC, via 285 Euros for early-bird EUDEC members to 120 euros for teenagers.  Children under three years old come free. These fees include meals. You can find details on the website,
